Bubble boy

This sweet boy has a lot going for him. He's smart, sincere and LOVES playing sports. However, over the last year or so he has been having reactions to things. We expected it to be allergy related since Jeff had similar issues as a child, and had him tested about a month ago for allergies. I was shocked as to how many things (food, indoor & outdoor allergies) he was allergic to. Foods-Gluten, soy, dairy, nuts(severe), peanuts(severe), preservatives, food coloring, certain fruits and vegetables including tomatoes, peas(severe), corn and spinach. Outdoor allergies-trees, shurbs and grass. Indoor allergies-cats, dogs, dust and mold. So after given the results we knew why this little guy was always  sneezing and had swollen eyes. The specialist we are seeing has him on a few things, including Vitamin d3, probiotics and a protein shake to help build up his  system. He is doing much better and is actually eating extremely healthy diet! We are all adapting to his diet and are trying to eat more like him! The doctor feels he will be cleared of most allergies and will be able to roll around in the grass again come spring. We all look forward to those days where he doesn't have to live in a bubble!
